Hamazkayin Orange County Siamanto Chapter Presents Lory Tatoulian in A One-Woman Comedy Cabaret.
Lory Tatoulian is an actress and playwright whose comedic character-studies define the core of her style. Her explorations take root in theatrical monologues that meld the comedic and absurd experiences of several ethnic groups who inhabit the American landscape. For the past seven years Tatoulian has been performing her solo shows in venues across the United States. Her solo shows include Autosapiens, Sketched and Sitting Twisted, Talking Straight which had its Off-Broadway debut in 2003.
Lory just completed a run of her show, Pomegranate Whisky, which played to sold-out audiences for seven straight months. Lory is currently gearing up for her next show that will open in December of 2008.

Dr. Vahram Shemmassian, Director of Armenian Studies at CSUN, will speak about Karen Jeppe's role in the rescue of enslaved Armenian women and children during the Armenian Genocide.

The program will include performances by Lark Musical Society, Ani Dance Group, and Razmig Mansourian. Hamazkayin will also be announcing the recipients of its first annual graduate scholarships in Literature, Journalism, and Film/Theater Studies.
